I really wish they were closer to us! We stopped on the way home from COTA. The food was so good! The choices were plentiful. We all got something different, and we (4of us) all enjoyed every bite! The waitresses were great. Just an overall awesome place! We plan on making the drive back for dinner soon! (Is about an hour from us)
Food is delicious!!! From the tea to the desserts and main dishes even better!! Service is great and complimentary coffee to go w dessert after your meal!!
Have not been there since before Pandemia and stopped by today. It was crowded, but the food was delicious. Liver and onions just like in the past. Gave a 3 for service due to service for me was poor this time...sorry, I still left a tip but not generous as normal.
I came by this location with my family for a sit-down dinner. We all ordered different items from the menu to include blackened tilapia, catfish, beef steak, and chicken tenders. We got a variety of sides such as beets, corn, french fries, rolls, salads, and spinach. Our server at the table was Dennis, who was friendly and efficient. He kept our table clean and our drinks filled. he brought napkins before we needed some and condiments before we could ask for them based on what he saw at our table. Each of our meals was pretty good and they were cooked to our liking and taste. when we walked into the restaurant initially there was one person at the salad bar and that's it. The lady at the salad bar yelled and pretty soon there were six people out on the line ready to serve our food and answer questions about the menu. I have not eaten at Luby's and a long time living in the Northeast Corridor, but I really enjoyed the first time back and coming to this location to have my first meal in this area. I would recommend this location.
Just as I remember Luby's food. All was great from customer service to food even though the line was just about out the door. The staff was very helpful and attentive.
Salad, sweet potatoes, Mac n cheese meatloaf and all the fixings. Homemade ranch was delicious I live by myself and come here often for dinner the waitresses are very kind and the food is always good. Lilly is very sweet, she’s is the best.
Not sure why people hate on this place. You ain’t getting fine dining for 9 . It’s a cafeteria style restaurant with a lot of options, plenty of seating, very good prices. When you walk in, you see so much fresh food, it feels homey, everything looks and smells good. You line up, grab a tray and utensils. Tell the staff what you want and your sides, grab your drinks and condiments, pay, sit down and eat. It is very full during lunch time, so schedule accordingly. I got the fried fish with the creamed spinach and mash potato and gravy, I also grabbed two jalapenos for additional charge. The food tastes good, it’s a very good portion size. I felt satisfied after my meal and would like to try different things next time! Total came out to be 10.58. I don’t think you have to tip but you can since they clean up.
This is one place from my childhood, I never want to go away. I’ve 99% of the time only ordered fried fish (I rarely ever eat fish b/c I developed an aversion to it, with some exceptions) mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with brown gravy along with my white roll. I must have ketchup and tartar sauce as well. This meal, is a little piece of Heaven, here on Earth.
